UNIMATEC donates to a good cause instead of Christmas presents

As in previous years, UNIMATEC Chemicals Europe GmbH is once again foregoing the distribution of Christmas presents this year and donating to a social organization instead. This time, Lebenshilfe Weinheim e.V. is delighted to receive a generous donation of 2,000 euros.

Under the motto ‘Being able to feel happiness is an ability that connects people with and without disabilities!’, Lebenshilfe Weinheim accompanies and supports mentally and physically impaired people of all ages and offers a comprehensive range of support and care. ‘It is important to us to support a locally committed institution in Weinheim with our donation and thus promote commitment and dedication to local projects,’ explains Dr. H.-Martin Issel, Managing Director of UNIMATEC. The donation was accepted on 27th November by Christine Mareike Merseburger, 1st Chairwoman and Walter Metz, Chief Financial Officer at Lebenshilfe Weinheim e.V.. At the symbolic handover of the cheque, both spoke about future projects that they will be able to support with the donation and expressed their delight at the generous support.

UNIMATEC Chemicals Europe GmbH, based in Weinheim for 25 years, is responsible for the distribution of products in Europe. It's parent company, UNIMATEC Co. Ltd. of Japan, was founded over 50 years ago and is today a leading manufacturer of high-performance synthetic rubbers and fluorinated specialty chemicals.
