PERFLUOROETHER-OLIGOMERS

The perfluoro-ether oligomers are used to form water/oil repellent coatings, particularly for textiles, special fabrics and nonwovens. The chemical composition enables PFOA/PFOS-free manufacturing.

Thus the application area of PFPE oligomers intermediates can now use these more environmentally-friendly products. The intermediates do not form long-chain perfluorinated structures and are therefore non bio-persistent.

Other applications for the oligomers are plastisizers, emulsifiers and defoamers. They are partially useful for surface protection.
